Stanmore Village Summer Fete 2017 (Sunday 25th June)

Stanmore Fete 2017 Proudly Supporting the RNOH Appeal

Stanmore Village Summer Fete 2017 (Sunday 25th June)

Our chosen Charity for 2017 is the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. We will be supporting The Buttercup Walk at the RNOH on Sunday 25th June.   The event is from 10.20 to 3.00.  As well as the walk, there will be children’s rides, a variety of stall, food, entertainment and a dog show.

Thank you for everyone who has booked a stall and who are supporting us by advertising in our lucky brochure.  These are now full.  But, if you would like to do something active, please come and join our Fete Coordinator  Michelle in undertaking the Buttercup Walk.  Registration is still open on the RNOH website.  If you do not fancy a walk how about helping Michelle to raise her target – see her just giving page. Michelle’s Just Giving Page

We are sure that this year’s Buttercup Walk and combined Stanmore Village Fete will not only ensure an exciting and enjoyable day out, but will also raise awareness of the RNOH and sufficient funds to enable this worthwhile charity to continue with their good work and we look forward to welcoming you all on the day.

5th Annual Stanmore Summer Fete

This year’s Stanmore’s Annual Stanmore Summer Fete will take place this Sunday 12th June 2016 from noon to 4pm. Jam packed with fantastic games and activities it’s a fun day out for the whole family. This year it will also mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The day includes a dog show, a free bouncy castle, Disney car ride, hook a duck and bouncy slide for the younger children, an array of amazing craft and other stalls, a BBQ, PIMMS tent, as well as fabulous entertainment.

This year we are very lucky to have Arnold Brooks an experienced and well-known local Master of Ceremonies to MC the event and keep everything running smoothly; along with Disco Dave who will keep the atmosphere going with his range of music.

The Dog show, now in its 3rd year, has four categories (Waggiest Tail, Most Handsome Male, Prettiest Bitch and Catch the Sausage and will again be hosted and judged by Blythwood Vets.
Stage Coach Stanmore’s Jayne Hardy has worked to produce a varied programme of activities including Technical Dance, Sue Gray Coaching, Harrow Find Your Voice Choir.

Stanmore Village Fete Coordinator – Michelle Chalibamba said

“We are delighted that Arnold Brooks has agreed to MC the event and would like to take this opportunity to thank all the local residents and business people who have generously supported us with donations of prizes or adverts in our Lucky Programme. We hope that the weather is kind to us and that lots of residents come out and support us. This year funds raised will be donated towards two of Stanmore’s oldest icons – St Johns Church Bell Appeal and Bernays Gardens.
