Stanmore Village Summer Fete 2017 (Sunday 25th June)
Our chosen Charity for 2017 is the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Following a recent meeting with the Fundraising Department of the RNOH, the Fete Committee, with agreement from the Executive Committee of The Stanmore Society, will be supporting The Buttercup Walk at the RNOH on Sunday 25th June. We do hope that we can again successfully raise sufficient funds to assist the RNOH in their wonderful efforts to make life more tolerable for so many people.
With the exciting news that the new Hospital building is now well under way, it is hoped that even more patients will benefit from the specialist treatments given at this world-renowned facility.
We are now looking for children’s entertainments (eg Bouncy Castle, Tea Cup Ride) who would be willing to support this event at no cost to the organisers but would donate a percentage of their takings to the RNOH charity. We are also seeking volunteers to assist on the day and a variety of stalls, owners of which will be available and willing to pay £30 for their attendance at this major event in Stanmore’s fundraising calendar for 2017.
Please contact email@example.com as soon as possible if you are interested in any of these roles. We are sure that this year’s Buttercup Walk and combined Stanmore Village Fete will not only ensure an exciting and enjoyable day out, but will also raise awareness of the RNOH and sufficient funds to enable this worthwhile charity to continue with their good work and we look forward to welcoming you all on the day.
